Use of technology assessment of low-input agriculture (LIAT) in Malawi: Adoption and Challenges for subsistence farmers in Malawi

Presentation There are concerns about agricultural activities that lead to environmental degradation and health risks associated with food products made intensively. Because of the interest in organic farming is growing. This growing interest in the sustainable management of natural resources and eat organic and healthy, with the growing number of poor farmers who can not afford agrochemicals has led to the possibility that organic farming in the treatment of the issue sustainable food production and livelihoods of resource poor in Sub-Saharan Africa. Low agriculture set applies to systems that rely less on external inputs, shops and more on internal resources. However, according agriculture inout Technolgy (LIAT) reported a negative impression in the different agricultural circles and this is cited as a major obstacle to greater adoption of technologies for low-input agriculture (LIAT) in Malawi and Africa across the Sahara. Increasingly, it is recognized that environmental degradation in Africa is a central factor in holding back agriculture. The loss of forest areas is to accelerate the degradation. Global Village Agriculture The world has shrunk into a global village and as such, technological advances taking place in all advanced countries and known instantly that help other countries like ours to adopt and techniques to track their updates. One such country is Israel, which is characterized by topographical variations and a wide range of soils, allowing the cultivation and breeding of a wide variety of crops and animals. A significant increase in the population immediately after 1948 requires a rapid increase in food production, followed by the development of research facilities and extension services. In recent years, Israel, like many other countries, has struggled to continue with the provision of services. This difficulty led agricultural organizations to begin to take responsibility to partially fund the extension of a few years and then tried to reflect the cost to farmers. SWOT analysis of E-Agriculture prospects in India

Introduction e-Agriculture involves the conceptualization, design, development, evaluation and application of innovative ways to use information and communication technologies (ICT) in the rural domain, with a primary focus on agriculture. Rural development can not be thought without the radical development in the agriculture sector. Monsoon driven agriculture sector itself is loggerheads with its traditional styles and financial crunch. Proper dissemination of the technology can serve a blessing in disguise to revive Indian agriculture sector. Over the years developed nations have used technology as tool to take a leap ahead of other and become self sustained.
